Christmas

Didn't do much.Went to Uncle Ron's new place out in Mukwonago last night for Christmas Eve.Dawn and Kev crashed at my place and since my asshole roommates were gone I let susie run around free all night.When we all got up this morning I let Daisy out and run around the apt with susie.They had a blast.The 3 of us went for a walk up to the lake with a pit stop to Starbucks on the way.When we came back just hung out.Been going in and out of my apt all day today.Around noon we went to Mayfair Mall to catch a movie.We saw"Night at the Museum". Had it's good moments and then there was some sappy moments but not bad movie.Later on after trying to decide about what to do for dinner we found a chinese restaurant not far from my place to eat at for dinner.Afterwards went to go look at lights downtown.I got a few good pics but the others I tried making were all blurry.Was diffcult to get good pics of the christmas lights at night time.Then we came back to my place again and hung out a little while and then Dawn and Kev headed back to Chicago.So that's how I spent my Christmas this year.I work New Year's Eve and Day in the evening,so me and mike are going to catch up with eachother and hang out to ring in the new year.Then on the 7th of January I will see everyone again when I move.about 2 weeks to go until the move...can't wait!Wooo hoooo!!!!

Cookies,cookies and more cookies!!!!

This coming saturday my job will be having a cookie exchange with any employees that join in.So far there are 14 people including myself.We each make any kind of cookie we want and make a dozen per each person who joins in.Then on saturday we exchange eachother's cookies and get to try other employee's creations.I made snickers cookies. Made about 204 cookies,so I actually have plenty left over for myself.It was a simple recipe,make the dough put a little minature snicker candy bar inside the dough and bake it for 12 minutes.The recipe I found online to make them also says to make chocolate glaze and to drizzle them on the cookies after they're completely cooled.But I think I would make a huge mess if I tried the glaze so I decided not to.I messed up a few cookies cause they stuck to the pans but I tried the ones I messed up and they're pretty good.So that was probably the only Christams thing I will be doing since I can't afford to shop for anyone this year.In other exciting news,I will be moving out of the apt building I live in now.I will be staying with a friend I also work with until I can save some money up and get my own place.Either a 1 bedroom apt or even just a studio.It's really decent of her to let me stay and I am very grateful she offered.She lives maybe 5 minutes away from me,so I know the area where she lives.She is charging me $250 a month to help with the electric bill,so I will be able to set some money aside from each paycheck.When I move I plan to go up to my bank and open a savings account so I can put the money in it and cannot spend it as well!I'm sure we all know how very easy it is to spend money quickly.

Tigger,the new shop kitten at Trim Time

On saturday Trim Time got a new kitten.He is a 12 week old litte boy.He reminds me of a younger taz.I'm sure taz looked something like that when he was that age I would imagine.They both have the same fur color.So anyways,now we have 3 kitties that live at Trim Time,Tigger{new arrival},Tabitha and Toby.I 'm not sure why the owner decided to get a 3rd cat for Trim Time but he is getting lots of love and attention from everybody.But really who can resist him.

Winter is definitely here

Winter has made it's arrival and the nasty cold weather will be sticking around for sure.No more some days it nice out and some days it's cold out weather.Getting alot of snow outside as I type this very minute.Not sure when it started but suppose to stop snowing this afternoon at 3pm.I was scheduled to work today but cause of the snow flurries outside I was called off. Alot of customers that come to my job with their dogs canceled their grooming appointments.So there is no work for me today.I am relieved cause I was already out there and know everybody is driving slow,incuding the bus drivers.So I just dropped off my rent check at my landlord's house and went back home.Suppose to get together later on with some friends and go bowling but until then I'll be staying inside,staying warm.Burrr!!!!
