Dawn is engaged!!!

Last night after Dawn had dropped me back at my apt,her and Kev went to a park nearby and he had proposed.Dawn called me back shortly after it happened and came back and showed me the engagment ring.It is very beauitful,simple and elegant I think.I am very excited for them.Congrats again Dawn and Kev!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas!

Had a pretty good holiday.Worked 4 hrs last night and then went to my Aunt Jackie's for get together with the family which we do every yr.Me ,Mike and Dawn exchanged our gifts there and stayed a bit.Mike headed off to Eli's dad's house for christmas.Dawn and Kev spent the night at my apt.We slept in today and eventually when we got up me and dawn did some rearranging around in my apt.We hit a afternoon movie at Mayfair Mall.Saw "Fun with Dick and Jane".It was really good,funny.And then we got some things at Walgreens and came back to my apt again.We are going to go out to eat in an hour or so.I will be seeing Mike in a week for New Year's .Going to hang out with him.Looking forward to it.

The weirdest thing happened to me{at least I think so}

Ok so here it is I was running out the door to head to my bank to cash my paycheck and as I came to the end of my block I saw a man in a Santa Suite across the street walking.I thought it was kinda weird and wandered what he was up to walking the streets at night time.Maybe he was going some place to do his Santa act.Maybe not..who knows.I had to look around to make sure I didn't just imagine it when I passed by.But it was for real.Weird.

Roommate is offically moved out

When I came home from work last night I walked into a very empty apt.Everything of hers was gone.She had left some stuff and I assume she will come back for it.I guess I didn't expect her to be out couple weeks early.I am trying right now to get a new roommate.I put a ad up on craigslist and made an account with roommates.com.So far no luck but hopefully soon.Thank god anthony was with me last night when I found out or I would have been real freaked out cus I don't like to be alone.Anywho wish me luck.

My living situation

Well my roommate will be moving out as I mentioned in another posting and will be out by January 1st,2006.Since I can't afford full amount of rent every month and decided I don't want to go through the hassle of moving out myself and getting another apt I decided to stay and post an ad up to look for a new roommate.I will start that tomorrow.Hopefully it won't take long but then again never know.As for xmas coming up,I don't have any plans really for it.I have to work xmas eve night which is when I usually get together with my family but will have to miss it this yr.And I am off xmas day.Me and dawn might go see Lucille and maybe make xmas dinner at my apt and find out if mike is cool with it to.But other than that nothing.And since that's all that will be going on for me for xmas,I am not looking forward to it much for those reasons.Bah hum bug to me for xmas this yr.

I'm an aunt

I called my mom today and found out that my stepsister Karolynn had her baby.She gave birth to a little boy on November 22 which was last week tuesday.His name is James Robert.So I'm an aunt...I have a nephew.Crazy.In other news I won't be seeing my parents for christmas like I thought I would.Probably see them around Easter instead.When they come in town they are going to drop by Karolynn's.
