Taz is sick

I just noticed two nights ago that my cat taz has a bad eye infection. I took him to a nearby vet 6 blocks away from my apt this morning and got meds for him. He also has a 104 fever. I have to give him eyes meds 3 times a day which I started today. And I have to give him an antibiotic for his fever twice a day which I start tomorrow for him. Now that he's sick I wander if it's contagious and concerned if my rabbit daisy will get it. I have to take her to vet next month for getting spayed and checkup. But I'm going to keep a close eye on her to make sure she doesn't get sick.
