Derrick moving out

Well my one dumbass roommate Derrick got evicted for countless reasons{more than 1}. He's suppose to be out by tomorrow night but he only took some of his stuff out of the apt. He still has alot more of his shit to get out. He tried taking some dishes of mine which I don't have alot of and I bitched at him to put them back. I want to move out to. So I'm going to start looking for 1 bedroom apts right away. Landlord said I can stay for month of July so I have time to look for a place. The kitten is still here and still sick. Think I'm going to take him to vet myself and tell a story to Derrick about kitten since he refuses to do anything for that animal.

First time having Daisy outside

Today I let Daisy outside for maybe 10 minutes. I had saw Dawn and Mike yesterday and Dawn gave me a leash for Daisy. She loved it outside, she was running all over . She got a little overheated when I brought her back in, but she is doing fine now.

Hanging out

Today me,Dawn,Kev,Mike,Tiff and 2 of Dawn's friends were suppose to go to a baseball game. But the game was sold out and instead we went to the Art Museum and then out to dinner.

A new kitten

No, I didn't get a kitten. Taz would kill me then probably the kitten. Anywho Derrick's friend Jamie who's been crashing at our apt for over a week now got a kitten today from Derrick's sister. His sister and her boyfriend had 4 cats but they broke up and getting rid of the cats. This kitten is a male,not sure about age but he has same color fur as Dawn's 1 cat Indy. He's not declawed or neutered yet. Jamie named him Tiger. I have a bunny and a cat, and now that there's a new kitten I felt that I should tell the landlord. I also feel it isn't right that Jamie has been using our stuff{water,etc}. So I called the landlord to see what he has to say about all this. She doesn't know how long she'll be staying cus she don't want to go home. I don't feel comfortable that there is a kitten in my apt cus now I have to be careful when I let Taz roam the apt so he and Tiger don't have a fight. I called the landlord and hope he calls me back soon so I can discuss all this with him.

Visit to Grandma's

Today me and Dawn went to go visit grandma now that she is home from the hosiptal. It turns out that she did not have a heartattack after all. She had something else wrong with her heart{think she said it was racing}. Anywho she called docter and was rushed to Emergency Room and had couple sugeries done. And this happened last week thursday. I guess someone in family thought they heard that she had a heartattack but no. She's doing fine. Me and dawn were at her house for 2 hrs just talking. Afterwards we went out to eat for dinner and then dawn headed back home{chicago}. Dawn will be back in town next saturday for a baseball game. Going with her, guess some of her friends might come to.

A scare

Dawn called me up today and told me grandma had a heartattack last week thursday. She's doing fine now but for a second I thought Dawn was going to say that she died and I almost shed a tear. I was relieved to hear that she didn't though. She should be able to go home tomorrow, so me and Dawn are going to go see her on friday. Grandma is a strong, healthy woman and I hope she's around for many years yet to come.

The picnic

Karen came by around 4pm and we packed and left. Karen,me,Derrick,Jason,Anthon, Jamie and Katie went on the picnic. Chad stayed behind which was a good idea cus Derrick's car was full. It took us an hour to find a park with a picnic table and playarea for the kids to play. We cooked up some burgers,hotdogs and corn on the cob. We had chips and the kids also had snacks and juice boxes. It was a nice day to have it and alot of people were out at parks cooking out like us. We stayed for a couple hrs and then came back. It wasn't very exciting but it was nice to get out of the apt for awhile and just be outside.

Run in with girl from high school

Just recently I saw this girl I used to go to high school with in my apt. She knows my one roommates Derrick. She has a 3 yr old daughter and hasn't changed much since high school, just gained weight from her pregnancy. I was never friends with her but we both used to date this one same guy we both knew{different times of course}.Anyway she was also with Derrick's x-girlfriend and mother of his son{Karen} and Anthon. He's only 2 yrs old. They went to go get some stuff and came back and we grilled some food outside. So it was me, Derrick,Anthon,Anthon's mom{Karen}, the girl{Jamie} , her daughter{Katie},Chad and Jason{lives below me}. Karen is talking about having a picnic on saturday so maybe I'll go. Something to do.

Taz marking territory

I just awhile ago caught my cat taz peeing in my bunnie's{Daisy} litterbox. I thought it was kinda funny to see my big cat in a small bunny litterbox taking a piss. I quickly got my camera and took a picture cus I wanted to remember that moment. I didn't know if I should be worried or not so I called my sister and she said he was just marking his territory. She said that her cat Indy did that to her bunny. So it was nothing big to worry about. I guess that also explains why taz tried going in Daisy's cage earlier today.

Weekend in Chicago

Friday night I came to chicago to see my sister and cus my aunt and uncle were in town to. We met up together yesterday and had breakfast. afterwards we went downtown and walked alot. Dawn had to go to a baseball game with a group at big sisters big brothers thing. The rest of us did more walking. we walked to Navy Pier and took a trolley a mile maybe from where we parked. My aunt and uncle went back to their hotel to rest awhile and me and Kev went home. Kev went to pick up Dawn from her game and around 8:30ish we all got together again and had dinner and then went for icecream. We are getting together again with them today. Not sure what we are going to do. Have to return home this afternoon so I can go to work. Can't wait to see my bunny and my cat tonight. I miss them.
