Hello Blog World

It's been awhile since I last posted anything recently but not much has been happening in my life.Such a exciting life I lead..I know.Here are some things that have happened since my last posting.I found a fairly big studio on the East side and moved out of chris's house last month.I like it alot,peaceful.I went to Summerfest on Sunday with Dawn and Kevin.Plan on doing State Fair as well with or without Dawn cus she might not go.On the 4th of July chris invited me to join her family for a cookout at a park that they do every year with their neighbors.Went to Toronto Canada last month with the gang{Dawn,Mike,Kevin,Tiffany and Jeff} for a few days.It was alot of fun and of course always great to get away even if it's just for a little while.I went to the dentist for a teeth cleaning today.Was told it's time to get my wisdom teeth pulled asap so when I got home I called them and set up an appt for August 27th to get it done.I am definitely nervous about it and can't wait till it's over.Other than that not much else.

The big 30

First of all giving out a shout out to Kevin{my brother-in-law} for turning the big 30 tomorrow!!!Hope it's totally awesome,kev check your email send you a birthday egreeting.Second,still apt searching.Haven't really found anything thing yet.Didn't think it would be so diffcult or long to find a place!I plan on going to a open house on Cambridge st on sunday and will try to find more places to call to make appointments for next thursday.Everything else has been fine in my life.Was just in chicago the weekend for Kevin's birthday party which was on saturday.Went pretty well except this time around everyone got stupid and trashed the condo which Dawn was not happy about.Can tell ya never seen so many different types of beer at a party before.Got to meet my brother's new dog which him and his girlfriend has had for 2 weeks now I believe.They got a 4 yr old cocker spaniel and named him Brody.He is very cute.I did take a pic but right now can't find the cord to my cam so I can post up a pic.Hey Dawn you still got those pics of him that mike sent you.Maybe you chould post one up..hint hint.

Apartment searching

Well once again I am moving again.This time instead of sharing an apt with a roommate,I'm going to try being by myself.So it will just be me the cats and the bunny.I am either looking for a studio or a 1 bedroom apt.I'm hoping to move out of chris's house by next month which I think I will be able to do.I have enough for an apt and the secuirty deposit.On thursday I am looking at 3 apts so wish me luck!

Yaaaa!! Tax Returns!!

Well I recently got back my tax returns and am very pleased to say that I was able to pay off my computer and 2 credit card bills.Now the only bill I have left to pay is my Discover Card bill which will still take awhile to pay off,but at least it's my last one.So I'm almost debt free after being in it for 4 years.In other news,susie's surgery healed up very well.Even though she was gone for 1 day and she can be a pain in my ass at times,I still missed her and kept seeing her everywhere in the house.But I am happy that I finally got it done.She just turned 8 months old a week ago.Before I know it she will be 1 years old on July 4th.Daisy will be 2 years old at the end of this month.They're growing up fast.As for my living situation,I decided to stay on my side of town and start looking next month for apts.I have more in my savings now and plan to put more in this week when I get paid again.My friend chad did mention an 1 bedroom apt that will be available for rent soon,but of course it's way over on the south side.He really wants me to take the place and is pushing it trying to talk me into taking the place but I do not want to be on the south side or do I want to take 3 buses to work.I want to stay on my side of town cus I am closer to work and I can walk to almost everything.Especially now that it is warming up.Thought this snow would never start to melt away.I recently bought susie a kitty gym back in January,I believe and did take pictures of her on it but for the life of me cannot figure out how to post one up on my blog.Maybe I 'll figure it out one day which I am still trying to figure out.

My vacation

Whoo hoo!! Today is my 1st day of starting my vacation.I am off all this week and don't have to return back to work until next monday.Since I've been employed at Trim Time for 4 yrs now I am allowed to take 1 week paid vacation.I decided to take it now cus we are slow and cus Kevin is gone this weekend.So I am coming out to Chicago this friday to visit Dawn the weekend.I don't have much planned this week.I am getting Susie spayed on tuesday and will be picking her up wednesday morning.I might get together with chad my friend sometime this week to catch a movie or something.I will be doing plenty of sleeping in though for sure.I am almost ready to do my taxes.I have everything I need and am just waiting on a rent certificate from a previous landlord which I should get any day now..hopefully by friday cus Dawn will be helping me.Can't wait till it's all over and I get the money.Plan to put half into savings and rest towards a bill.I am hoping to start looking for an apt within next couple months.I 'm sure I mentioned before that I am staying with a friend{chris} and her family now cus of how bad my living situation was before then.I was thinking about staying until end of summer then I found out my chris's husband's daughter from his 1st marriage is coming out for a visit from June till end of August and bringing a friend.Chris has a daughter from her 1st marriage as well,and all these girls are in their teen yrs.I don't think I could handle putting up with 3 teenagers everynight for the entire summer.I am doing good with my savings,have a little in now.Figured in a couple months I should have enough to find an apt.But the question is where.I am clueless of what side of town I should look whenI start.Do I want to stay on the East side and can I afford it,or should I look on the north side or south side.Maybe something not so far from work.I have no idea.Hopefully I will know soon and I know I have friend's who will help me decide.So all is good in my life now.

The new place

Well I have been staying with chris and her family for 2 weeks now and so far they have not really annoyed me to much yet.Ha ha.I sleep upstairs where I have a space to myself.it's a long big room and I get one half of the room and chris's daughter britney has the other side where her room is.Taz and susie are adapting fairly well to the new place.They're aware of their dog they have who always stays downstairs.Taz only seems to come down at night time when everyone is sleeping but susie is alot more braver and constanly comes down,but hightails right back up the stairs is she sees the dog.I am thinking about liking to get her spayed possibly end of next month which is also when I will be taking my vactaion.A week off paid..woo hoo!Can't wait so I can sleep in{what else would I be doing}Last sunday I got to go with chris to check on her horse that she has.Forget where exactly she has her{Female horse named Lilly}.They also have a rabbit as well as me.The cages are next to eachother and we let them out on their own sides the the room.So my bunny is free on my side and their bunny is in britney's room.Me and chris would like to have the 2 buns meet and see how they do,but have not gotton around to it yet.Hopefully soon cus I'm kinda anxious and curious.Starting to put money aside into my savings account.So everything is going good.Very happy here and so are my animals especially susie.

I tried posting some pics up just now but seems I ran into a problem with Hello a program I use to post my pics up with.So I'll work on it tomorrow.

2 more days to go

Well I have tonight and tomorrow night at my old place to make through.Sunday morning I will be moving out. A lady{chris} I work with at Trim Time offered that I could stay at her place until I can get my own place.So Sunday is the move.Chris and her husband came by tonight and took some boxes I packed up back to their place.When I get home tomorrow night I stil have alot more to pack up.I think I might just wait till I'm at chris's sunday night to do my laundry depending on how crazy it might get then.I know both myself and my pets will be much happier once I'm out.I feel bad confiding them in one room 24/7 but I don't want them around a bunch of people that smoke and drink all the time.So hang in there kids 2 more days to go!
